Return Policy

At Emberlight Theory, we are committed to delivering high-quality, design-forward candles that enhance your rituals and spaces. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, our return policy is here to assist you.

1. Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns under the following conditions:

  • The item must be unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging.

  • Return requests must be initiated within 30 days of the delivery date.

  • Sale items, gift cards, and custom orders are non-refundable unless defective or damaged.

2. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our Customer Support team at sales@emberlighttheory.com with your order number and reason for the return.

  2. Our team will provide you with a Return Authorization (RA) number and instructions on how to return the item.

  3. Return the item to us following the instructions provided. However, certain items, such as those with glass or other potential hazards, may not require shipping back. These situations will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

3. Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or defective.

  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service and retaining your receipt as proof of return.

4. Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective:

  • Please contact us within 7 days of delivery at sales@emberlighttheory.com with your order number and photos of the damage.

  • We will arrange a replacement or provide a full refund, including return shipping costs, as applicable.

5. Refunds

Refunds are processed once we receive and inspect the returned item.

  • Approved refunds will be credited to your original payment method within 7-10 business days.

  • Shipping fees from the original purchase are non-refundable unless the item was defective or damaged.

6. Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to receive a different product, please return the unwanted item and place a new order.

7. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Used or partially burned candles.

  • Sale items or promotional items.

  • Gift cards.
